Join Palmer’s on this one-of-a-kind travel experience! Sardinia is a well-kept Italian secret. Known for its beautiful coastline, mountainous interior, and culinary secrets, we will go behind the scenes with some of the island’s most celebrated artisan producers, meet the locals, and get to know this island and its culinary treasures, from seafood to saffron.
This trip is designed for both novice and experienced travelers who like to engage with a new place through the lens of food. We will explore the diverse foodways of the region and its cultures by engaging personally with our hosts. History and personal stories will color our many encounters. We encourage attendees to have open minds, adventurous spirits, and a deep passion for traditional foods and their modern-day developments.
We customize our adventures with a brilliant balance of free time & guided activities. But there will be some walking on uneven ground in the city and the countryside of Sardinia. Please expect to walk for as long as an hour.
Our guests are adults of all ages, and we encourage the single traveler. We do not charge a single supplement fee! We keep the groups small, at 12 guests maximum. All of our tours have a Palmer’s host as your guide, as well as one guide from our tour partner. We feature local experts daily, to bring even more richness and information to the experience. Be sure to bring an extra suitcase, a generous appetite and a spirit for adventure!
