We sent Cindy home with our Kauai head-on shrimp to do a taste test with her favorite recipe, New Orleans-style BBQ Shrimp. “Ever since I took a trip to New Orleans, I’ve been trying to recreate this dish. New Orleans-Style BBQ Shrimp are buttery and spicy with lots of garlic and lemon juice, but I could never get it quite right. Well, I found the secret! Using these incredible Kauai Shrimp added so much flavor to the sauce AND they were so creamy, tender, and sweet. I served them with my favorite Tom Cat Bakery baguette for sauce dipping and I will tell you this is one of my favorite all-time dinners. Yes, it’s messy to eat, as you peel and eat right at the table, but it’s worth it!” Try the recipe for yourself and let us know what you think!
