My husband Brian and I are out visiting our son Travis, who recently moved to Aspen to apprentice under one of the top Jewelry Designers in Aspen. We are lucky enough to be here during the Food and Wine Classic! Tickets to the event were completely sold out months ago, but we were able to get tickets to the Last Bite Dessert Party held at the Jerome Hotel.
I am totally obsessed and possessed with food and cooking, so I couldn’t have been any more excited to see some of my favorite chefs!!!!

Unfortunately there will be no more pictures this weekend as I dropped my camera in all the excitement. Couldn’t have had anything to do with the delicious cocktails they passed all night……..
We are on the waiting list for the Best New Chef 2013 Dinner Party on the top of Aspen Mountain tonight. We’ve got our cell phone on and our fingers crossed. Imagine how many chefs we’d see there!!! We’re off for a day of hiking in these spectacular mountains. Unfortunately Travis is working the entire time we are here, but we’ve got two more fun nights before we head back. Have a great weekend.
